GE 60 ES 2RS is a radial spherical plain bearing — meaning the inner ring has a spherical (convex) outer surface and the outer ring a matching concave surface. This lets it self-align, accommodating shaft misalignment, tilting or oscillating motion between the shaft and housing.

Its construction uses steel-on-steel sliding surfaces (inner and outer rings from high-carbon chromium bearing steel), giving high load capacity, good wear resistance, and strong performance under heavy, static, shock or alternating loads.

The “2RS” designation indicates the bearing has double-lip rubber seals on both sides, helping prevent dust, dirt, and moisture ingress — useful in dirty or humid environments — while protecting internal surfaces.
